I can’t do this if you give up on us.”"Ho iniziato a leggere il libro spinta da tutte le recensioni positive che avevo letto, per cui avevo un sacco di aspettative, credendo di avere a che fare con qualcosa di assolutamente fenomenale. Quando mi sono trovata a leggere varie pagine senza essere travolta ci sono rimasta male. Si Helen sembra avere qualcosa di speciale, ma non ha nessuna delle caratteristiche che ti dicono che sarà un'eroina con i controfiocchi. Ma quando si arriva nel pieno della storia cambia tutto.La narrazione è brillante, i personaggi a tutto tondo anche se a volte con reazioni che non ti aspetteresti da un semidio. La parte di mitologia che rischiava di sommergere la storia con dettagli troppo tecnici fa da sfondo perfetto dando una nota di originalità che spesso manca in questo genere. Tra vampiri, lupimannari, fate e quant'altro avere a che fare con una razza superiore, che discende direttamente da prima della Guerra di Troia per me è una novità e quindi mi ha fatto apprezzare il libro.Aspetto con ansia il secondo episodio della saga.Leggete of course!La romance tra i protagonisti non è scontata come potrebbe sembrare e
